A series of high-level sessions will take place from 6 to 8 October 2009 in Brussels to discuss the state of the healthcare policy and the medical technology industry in Europe and the way forward in times of economic crisis.
Brussels, 20 May 2009 – Eucomed, the voice of the medical technology in Europe, is today officially launching the registration process for its MedTech Forum 2009. The association invites its members, the medical technology industry and all the other healthcare stakeholders to participate in the conference.
After the success of its first edition last year, Eucomed has decided to organise the MedTech Forum a second time. Taking place in the center of Brussels, “this conference provides participants with a rare opportunity to engage in dialogue with influential players, both from the European Parliament and the European Commission, as well as from EU member states and other relevant stakeholders,” says John Wilkinson, Chief Executive of Eucomed. The variety of high-level sessions will offer different views on the healthcare policy and industry and where it is heading. “This year’s programme is designed to maximise delegates’ participation in the debates and discussions as well as to allow plenty of time for networking,” he adds.
The MedTech Forum brings together thought leaders from policy and scientific communities and patients along with the medical technology industry. It is the largest gathering in Europe of its kind.
